Subscribing to our services from our platforms

www.readiaw.com implies unreserved acceptance of these General Terms of Service. We invite you to read them carefully as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations.
1- Purpose:
The company READIAW LTD, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, Phone: +44 7577 324315, registered with the Companies House in England and Wales under Company Registration Number 16343182 and hosted by LWS (hereinafter "The Host") provides the public and publishing professionals with an online platform called Readiaw (hereinafter "the Platform") allowing them to hold an account to access and subscribe to our online publishing services and secondary services.
It is accessible at the URLs www.readiaw.co.uk and www.readiaw.com (hereinafter "The Website"). These General Terms of Service (hereinafter "The TOS") aim to inform registered authors and leads about the conditions and terms of the Services and Training offered by Readiaw and to set the contractual provisions applicable between READIAW LTD on one hand and the author (hereinafter "the Author" or "the Client") on the other hand in the context of the subscription or order by an Author of the services available from Readiaw.
2- Application of the General Terms of Service:
Any person using our platform agrees to comply with and be bound by the provisions of these General Terms of Service which govern access to and use of the platform. The fact that an author subscribes to one or more of our service offers implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms of Service, which the Author explicitly acknowledges having read prior to validating their subscription.
This acceptance is materialized when the Author checks the box provided for this purpose or clicks on "I accept", a mandatory and prior step to subscribing to the Services. This box indicates: "I have read and I accept the General Terms of Service of Readiaw".
READIAW LTD reserves the right to modify, correct, and supplement these TOS at any time. They will be applicable as soon as they are posted online for any new subscription. The Author is entitled to refuse any such modification at any time by ending all use of the Readiaw Platform and may close their Author Account at any time.
3- Definition of our service offers:
The services provided consist of providing a Platform that enables the Author to give greater visibility to their stories. The services include:
- Custom creation solutions: Professional cover design, layout, formatting, proofreading, and editing.
- Publishing services: Digital, print, and audio publishing.
- Translation services: Literary translation and cultural adaptation.
- Print on demand: Personalized options, fast and secure shipping.
- Marketing and promotion: Support creation, targeted campaigns, public relations.
- Editorial services: Writing summaries, biographies, personalized editorial coaching.
- Writing assistance: Alpha reading, coaching, and writing workshops.
- Gift offers: Gift vouchers and professional reading.
4- Registration and Opening of an Author Account:
To enjoy the services, the Author creates an Author Account via the registration form. They must provide true, complete, and current information. The Author will receive an email containing a confirmation link to validate the creation of their Account.
A signed book cannot be deleted from the Platform by the Author under any circumstances.
5- Copyright:
The Author is the sole holder of all copyright on their story(ies) offered for sale on our platform, except in cases where we offer a publishing contract to the author directly or with a partner publisher. In the absence of a prior, express, and written agreement, no distribution within the framework of an edition is authorized.
6- Rates and payment conditions:
Services offered by Readiaw are invoiced as a one-time payment. Readiaw uses the following payment methods:
Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe… The author agrees to provide the information necessary for their identification. This data is handled by the payment providers and not by Readiaw.
7- Service delivery terms:
To publish their book, the Author must: Log in to your Account, upload your manuscript (chapter by chapter or full), select the cover, choose a complementary service, accept the TOS and settle the payment.
8- Obligations of Readiaw:
Readiaw recognizes the Author as the sole owner of the rights and solely responsible for the content. We reserve the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate (defamatory, offensive, incitement to crime, racism, homophobia, etc.). We commit to implementing the necessary measures to ensure the availability of the platform (obligation of means).
9- Obligation of the Author:
The Author commits to providing accurate information and publishing only stories for which they hold the rights, respecting our publishing charter. The Author is obliged to correct typos before submission or use our correction services. They expressly authorize Readiaw to use their name, image, and books for the advertising promotion of the platform.
