These General Terms of Use govern the relationship between READIAW LTD and any user of the platform and its services.
1- Acceptance of General Terms:
By using our platform, you accept these General Terms of Use. We ask you to read them carefully before continuing your navigation on the site.
2- Content and Copyright:
You can publish your stories with purely African themes on our platform (Stories published on the platform must have a direct link to the African continent, whether through characters, places, themes, or cultures addressed). You retain the copyright to your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive license for the display, distribution, and promotion of your stories on our platform and with our bookstore partners.
3- Registration and User Account:
The use of certain Services requires the creation of a User account. Personal data collected during registration is processed in accordance with our privacy policy. The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. A reader-user can create up to 2 sub-accounts per subscription by paying an additional £5 to share the offers with two people in their circle. Beyond that, a main account distinct from previous sub-accounts must be created.
4- Use of the Platform:
You agree to use our platform legally and respectfully. You may not publish offensive, defamatory, political, discriminatory, or illegal content (plagiarized text, child pornography, hate speech, criminal activities… see our publication charter). It is strictly forbidden to use the Platform for commercial purposes, share login credentials with third parties, or copy, reproduce, broadcast, or sell the Content without prior authorization.
5- Paid Services:
Access to certain services or parts of our platform may require an individual purchase, group purchase (Users can join together to buy books at reduced prices), direct payment per chapter or via tokens purchased, or a paid subscription for a determined period. You agree to pay the purchase or subscription fees according to the indicated terms. Payments after service rendered are secure and non-refundable. Rates for different services are indicated on the Platform and may be modified at any time. Payments are currently made by bank card
(Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, or Stripe.
6- Donations and Contributions:
The Readiaw community is a sharing and creation platform that thrives on the generosity of its members. In addition to enjoying the content offered, you have the opportunity to actively support the platform and its creators (in this case, our authors) by making donations.
A "Donation" is defined as a voluntary act by which a user pays a sum of money to the platform or to a content creator. These donations do not entitle the user to any direct consideration from the beneficiary, other than the satisfaction of contributing to a project close to your heart.
To whom can you donate?
- To the platform: Your donations will finance the development of new features, improve the quality of services, and ensure the platform's sustainability.
- To content creators (our authors): You can directly financially support authors whose work you appreciate by making a donation. These donations can encourage them to continue their creations.
- To partner associations: We collaborate with associations working for social or environmental causes. You can choose to support these associations by donating via our platform.
How to make a donation?
Donations can be made securely from the dedicated feature on the platform, via the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Stripe. We commit to being transparent about the use of funds collected.
7- Confidentiality and Data Protection:
We collect and use your information in accordance with our privacy policy. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or any other illegal processing, in accordance with the GDPR.
8- Termination:
We reserve the right to terminate your account in case of violation of these general terms. You can also terminate your account at any time by contacting us (

9- Content Moderation:
We reserve the right to remove, without notice, any content that does not respect these GTU or that undermines public order or morality.
10- Limitation of Liability:
We are not responsible for direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our platform.
11- Modifications to Terms and Platform Evolution:
We may update our general terms from time to time. Any modification will be published on our platform followed by email notification if you are subscribed to our newsletter.
To continuously improve the quality of our services, we may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for:
- Content recommendation: To suggest books or articles based on your preferences.
- Data analysis: To better understand your needs and improve our services.
- Interface personalization: To adapt the platform interface to your personal preferences.
You acknowledge that the use of AI by our platform may result in changes to the features and services offered.
12- Miscellaneous:
Account Management Clause: Any User (reader) account with no login for an uninterrupted period of three (03) months will be considered inactive. Deactivation results in the loss of all points accumulated under the Contributor Reward Program and other ongoing rewards, and the deletion of personal data within legal limits.
Before any deactivation, READIAW LTD undertakes to send an email to the User informing them of the imminent deletion or suspension of their account.
